Gimme a monsoon break- 2

“Is this the time you should come to the class? Can’t you be regular? , my teacher exclaimed. It was her usual way of reacting. I still remember her enraged face whenever she saw a student coming to the class late. It got on to her nerves when anyone would ask permission to get inside the class. “I actually waited for a long time for the rain to stop ma’m, that’s why it took so long to reach the school. I thought I could make it here when the rain eased a bit, but…” I cooked up a story, with the completely innocent face and thought she might be convinced. Nope…It was rainy season. She asked me the reason why I didn’t wear a raincoat or have umbrella. How could I say, I wanted to be drenched n I love rains??? I was punished that day. Yeah, I enjoyed being punished. She asked me to stand outside ma classroom. Yeah!!! There he was…the bright sun. That was the bestEST punishment I’ve had ever got. Being doused in rain and getting dry under the sun…amazing.

Forgot the photoshopper guy, he was like a S*ine ;) Forgot those grimy looks we gave when one came to our cabin without reason. Forgot to include the man who took few seconds to utter our names. Oh! We respect him d most till now… Forgot to write about the guy who bought toffees with a nice good evening wish. Forgot those moments we eagerly waited for our each other when we had s

Got to know what real fun is…when I joined the office. The inner prankster of mine came out with naughty and tricky pranks this time. But only for a while. - Work stands first of course… After that, me used to chat with my husband, for a change, me n ma colleague plunked our lunch boxes in the sideboard/drawer and when out for partying at SukhSagar or ManjuMamta. - When we come, we dreadfully needed that A.C on in our cabin. We were just two. But the office looked empty without us says our boss…And yeah!! We two were equal to several funniest pranksters. - We enjoyed summers by having packet full of ‘kakdis’ every now and then. We squabbled with the canteen staff for serving us cold and foul-tasting ginger tea. (Well that tea some times had no ginger in it to be called as Ginger tea properly)… And many
